We must precisely manufacture our customized calibration gas mixtures by involving several critical steps. In the first step, we must consider the chemical raw material purity and detailed impurity characterization. In the second step, we must calculate the phase behaviour for the calibration gas mixtures. In the third step, we must blend precise amounts of gas. In the final step, we must confirm the independent analysis of the last gas calibration mixture.
Before we begin, we first evaluate the requested specialty gas mixtures using advanced computer modelling for potential phase problems. Next, the specialty gas mixtures are blended to precise specifications on sensitive gravimetric scales. Finally, all the calibration weights are traced by the National Institute of Standards and Technology, which are evaluated with analyzers and gas chromatograph to confirm that the blended and analyzed values agree to the stated product specifications.
Every manufacturing stage in the calibration gas mixture supply is constantly measured, evaluated, and validated. Each calibration gas mixture undergoes seven specific stages in the manufacturing process: from the raw material analysis, final mixture certification, results measured and recorded, and compared to stringent quality control requirements as per individual mixture.
As specialty gas manufacturers, we must monitor all the steps involved in manufacturing our products, i.e., calibration gas. This causes the GC analysis to confirm inaccurate standards at the end; in other words, an erroneous calibration gas standard is generated.

Also, cylinders must be prepared according to the individual calibration gas mixture.
